The book is not only an analysis of reception and influence of Thales but new original interpretation of the whole heritage of Milesian thinker as well. In the light of new interpretative perspective a few neglected aspects of this thought was brought up opening thus the way for reinterpretation of mythos-logos relationship at the beginning of European reflection it its prephilosophical and prescientific character.
