Sociologist by profession, currently more interested in cultural studies, Wojciech Klimczyk has published diverse works on the body in contemporary culture, including the following books: Postmodern Eroticism, Visionaries of the Body. Panorama of contemporary dance theatre and The Virus of Mobilisation. Dance and the formation of modernity 1455-1795, vol. 1-2. Together with Agata Świerzowska he has edited the anthology Music and Genocide. His doctoral thesis entitled Anthropology of Contemporary Dance Theatre. Dynamics of artistic practice was defended with honours. Outside of the university he is the initiator of The Flying Academy of Dance Languages and vocalist in Lucky Boy and Black Black Rooster as well as lyricst in projects like Andrzej Grabowski & Cedury, Starszy Pan and Jutuber.
