The book consists of two parts. The first reflects on the peculiarity of the coaching style of spirituality in a broader research perspective. This form can be located at the meeting point of the contemporary desire for self-development and transgression. It is also an ambiguous cultural phenomenon, which embraces everything, from folklore to popular culture, and from traditional to daring, sometimes controversial forms of expression. On the one hand, spirituality is perceived as a necessary condition for success, which cannot possibly occur without a sense of inner fulfilment and harmony; on the other, however, it inevitably leads to a confrontation with one`s loneliness and freedom. The second part of the book contains seven interviews. Among the interviewees were coaches and therapists representing various approaches both to coaching and spirituality, and expressing anything from fascination to distance and criticism. Their opinions differ significantly, but in fact our main goal was to capture this specific diversity of stands and views. And at the same time to underline certain common tendencies or parallel statements.
