Ethnic Nationalism and Separatism

For the first time in Poland the subject of South Asian nationalism was approached in the framework of the contemporary Asian studies. This discipline is well developed in the academic centres in USA, Great Britain and Belgium, whereas our seminar was a significant contribution to the development of this branch in Poland. Apart from scholars from the Warsaw University the seminar hosted guests from Indian and Pakistani facilities, including K.R. Cama Oriental Institute, Tata Endowement, Centre de Science Humaines and University of Baluchistan in Quetta.
